Dave Campbell’s Texas Football
As the Director of Digital, my job was to reimagine the digital experience by launching a media network with multi-platform content, a subscriber database and on-demand streaming. I also led the team redesigning the website, integrating live scoring tools and crafting a custom CMS. Our partners at Select Interactive were nimble enough to build a site tailored specifically to our needs, and this was great experience to sit in my first PM-style role working with engineers every day to deliver a product based on user and traffic research, while having to meet the requirements of the total budget, and the editorial and sales teams.

One of the more exciting parts of the site is the scores tool, which is tied to an API live scoring app powered by users around the state of Texas. This dashboard was the override to adjust any incorrect scores or promote games in the main header of the home page on game nights.

This is the story editor we built in the custom CMS. Super clean, super easy to use, and allowed for editors to move in and out of articles seamlessly.

This is the main dashboard of the CMS we built. Really clear and uncomplicated, unencumbered by frivolous options.
High Drama
The week of the Texas high school state championships at AT&T Stadium is one of the greatest sporting events on the planet. Hundreds of thousands of fans come from all corners of the state as their hometowns reach for greatness. Such high stakes require nimble and immersive storytelling that capture the raw emotions and thrilling moments. I had a vision for how these images would come together each year, but it was never better executed than by Tanner Fowler & Jordan Hernandez.
The Best Of Us
The beauty of creating content for a state as big as Texas is the stories you’ll find. Eli Shinn’s story is among my favorite I’ve ever been able to tell, and I had great team members in Greg Tepper and Trevor Stiff.
